Wild Medicine Walks
Seasonal Guided Explorations of the Healing Plants Growing Around Us
I lead urban wild medicine walks throughout the year in Sheffield, offering a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and discover the medicinal plants growing in local green spaces.
These immersive guided walks introduce you to the traditional and contemporary uses of common wild herbs, helping you recognise the natural medicine that exists on your doorstep.

Each walk is unique, shaped by the season and the plants we meet. You can expect to learn:

Tea Circles
Small Group Sessions to Learn about Herbal Medicine through Sensory Plant Exploration.
Using all our senses, we explore the unique qualities of a different herb in each session. We then share our experiences of the herb with the group and I will share information about how the herb is used by medical herbalists, as well as some of the plant’s history and folklore and how to grow or find the herb in the wild. You will receive an information sheet about the herb to read in your own time.
Details of upcoming sessions will be posted here.
Medicine Making
Practical Workshops to learn how to Make and Use a Range of Herbal Remedies.
You will discover how to prepare and preserve different herbal applications with seasonal herbs using the correct equipment and ingredients. Preparations will include tinctures, vinegars, oxymels, infused oils and balms. You will make your own remedy to take home, along with a recipe and methodology handout.
Each workshop is designed to be practical, empowering and accessible.
Details of upcoming medicine making workshops will be posted here.
