Where Herbal Medicine Meets Psychological Therapy
Every herbal consultation with me will be influenced by my background in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. For some people, additional psychological support can help understand how past experiences, current stress and longstanding emotional patterns are affecting their health and wellbeing.
I offer two ways of working that combine professional training in psychology, psychotherapy, and herbal medicine:
Short-term holistic psychotherapy
Nature based therapy
Rather than asking, “What is wrong with you?” we explore together what has happened to you, and what you need now.
Starting therapy is a significant step in your journey to wellness but can feel daunting. You are welcome to get in touch for a free initial conversation to explore whether this way of working feels right for you

For many people, therapy can feel easier when moving side-by-side in nature rather than sitting face-to-face in a room.
Walking outdoors helps regulate the nervous system, process difficult feelings, and allow thoughts and reflections to emerge more naturally.
There is an abundance of research evidencing the healing power of nature. You may also find your attention drawn to a particular plant or landscape that offers insight into your situation.
